Earning Trust, Listening to Needs
Dr. Mirabile began his medical career in 1992 and, after delivering over 7,500 babies, he stopped obstetrics to focus on gynecological care. Over the years, he’s continued to earn the trust of patients; in fact, hundreds of the children he delivered are now patients.
But while his practice was rewarding, he soon discovered patients were looking for more than medical services—they also desired treatments to address their overall wellness and beauty needs. “My patients were constantly asking me to recommend an excellent cosmetic spa,” he relates. “And while there were one or two places in town that offered a few simple procedures, there weren’t any with a full complement of treatments under the supervision of a medical doctor.”
The answer? To open his own medical spa. In 1999, MedCosmetic, a division of Mirabile M.D. Beauty Health & Wellness was “born.” Dr. Mirabile soon became a pioneer in laser treatments for common and more complex skin conditions. Since then he has trained thousands of doctors in breakthrough procedures and treatments that continue to evolve. Most recently, Dr. Mirabile was invited to be a luminary trainer for Cutera, one of the leading cosmetic laser companies in the world.

Along with a variety of state-of-the-art laser procedures to address fine lines, deeper wrinkles, sun damage, unwanted tattoos, fat reduction, hair removal and more, MedCosmetic offers a full range of non-invasive treatments including Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, and Ultherapy, a remarkable solution to help the appearance of sagging skin. Always at the Forefront of What’s New
Two of the most exciting new treatments offered are ThermiVa® and Geneveve™, non-surgical answers
to vaginal rejuvenation. As with many medical breakthroughs, MedCosmetic was one of the first to
introduce these procedures in the Kansas City area.

A Leader in Hormone Replacement Therapy
Increasingly, Dr. Mirabile has become one of the country’s most respected leaders in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
“Research has shown that hormonal imbalance is key to a healthy lifestyle for women—and men—of all ages,” he says. “While the treatment addresses a number of issues including peri-menopause, menopause and andropause, we’re also on the forefront of treating chronic traumatic encephalopathy or C.T.E., caused by contact sports.”
Dr. Mirabile specializes is SottoPelle®, a highly effective HRT delivery dosing method, and was named SottoPelle’s Medical Director in 2016. “As part of my role,” he says, “I train other physicians around the globe about SottoPelle, which treats the root of the problem and not just the symptoms.”
