What Is Kysse?
Restylane Kysse is the first hyaluronic acid (HA) filler created specifically for the lips. Galderma, a global dermatology company, is the creator of Kysse dermal filler. While Kysse has been used in other countries, the new lip filler was recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The Restylane line of HA dermal fillers includes many different treatments, including products that smooth wrinkles and smile lines, lift and add volume to the checks, and augment the lips. The Kysse fillers are unlike any other product, however, because it uses a unique formula to suit the flexibility of lips.
How Does Kysse Work?
Restylane Kysse uses XpresHAn Technology. This technology alters the way hyaluronic acid binds after it is injected into the lips, making it different than other hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Traditionally, these fillers involve hyaluronic acid being injected into the lips, or in some cases, other areas of the body like the cheeks or hands. After it is injected, the hyaluronic acid binds to itself and stretches within the body.
Kysse acts differently because the XpresHAn Technology allows the hyaluronic acid to mold to the lip’s tissue after it is injected. The Restylane particles are smaller than other fillers. The small size combined with the XpresHAn Technology allows the hyaluronic acid to become a part of your lips, rather than something inside of them. Additionally, the small filler particles mean that there is less risk of developing lumps or other side effects.
What Are the Benefits of Kysse?
The clinical trials have proven that Kysse fillers offer many benefits. This lip augmentation treatment provides lip fullness that both feels and looks more natural. While Kysse offers results of fuller-looking lips, there are also other benefits to choosing this lip augmentation option.

The most common side effects are mild and may include swelling, bruising, tenderness, and itching. However, these should subside soon after receiving the injections. Also, the lidocaine medication will minimize any pain following the treatment.
